My path into PR wasn't exactly conventional. I spent a decade working in a supermarket, studied music at university, stumbled into marketing through a brewery traineeship and eventually found my way to communications via a specialist tech and space PR agency, where I got to work on genuinely exciting technology.
I tell you this not because my career history is particularly fascinating, but because I think it matters. The people who come to communications through an unconventional route tend to see things differently. They understand audiences. They know how to talk to people rather than at them. And they are not precious about getting stuck in.
That's me. Ten years across B2B and enterprise communications, in-house and agency, working with organisations that have real ambitions and need a PR partner who is genuinely invested in what the work achieves.
My Story
What I do
I help organisations define how they want to show up publicly, build the media relationships to make it happen and measure results in ways that connect back to the business.
My particular strength is B2B technology communications, especially in the space and aerospace sector. I have worked on campaigns generating over 100 pieces of coverage across national, trade and broadcast media, and I also work across SaaS, manufacturing, engineering and the creative industries.
I am also a CPD-certified AI trainer. Alongside my consultancy work I run practical AI training workshops for PR and communications teams, teaching people how to use tools like ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity in ways that are directly applicable to their day-to-day work. It is grounded in the same practice as everything else I do.
How I work
I am based in Cornwall but work with clients across the UK and internationally. Remote-first, no fuss, no unnecessary meetings.
I do not do transactional. I work as part of your team, taking the time to understand your business properly and making sure the communications activity we build together actually supports what you are trying to achieve. I am straightforward to work with, I communicate clearly and I am honest when something is not working.
