My path into PR wasn't exactly conventional. I spent a decade working in a supermarket, studied music at university, stumbled into marketing through a brewery traineeship and eventually found my way to communications via a specialist tech and space PR agency, where I got to do genuinely exciting work on genuinely exciting technology.
I tell you this not because my career history is particularly fascinating, but because I think it matters. The people who come to communications through an unconventional route tend to see things differently. They understand audiences. They know how to talk to people, not at them. And they're not precious about getting stuck in.
That's me. Nine years across B2B and B2C communications, both in-house and agency. I work with organisations that have real ambitions and need a PR partner who's invested in the outcome, not just the deliverable.
My Story
What I do
I help organisations define how they want to show up publicly, build the media relationships to make it happen and measure it in ways that connect back to the business.
My particular strength is in B2B technology communications – especially in the space and aerospace sector, where I've worked on campaigns generating over 100 pieces of coverage across national, trade and broadcast media. I also work across SaaS, manufacturing, engineering and the creative industries.
I'm also a CPD-certified AI trainer. Alongside my consultancy work, I offer practical workshops for PR and communications teams on tools like ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity – teaching people to work faster and smarter without losing the human judgement that great PR depends on. It's not a separate business; it's just how I work.
How I work
I'm based in Cornwall, but I work with clients across the UK and internationally. Remote-first, no fuss, no unnecessary meetings.
I don't do transactional. I work as part of your team — getting under the skin of your business, understanding what you're trying to achieve and making sure the communications activity we build together actually supports it. I'm easy to work with, I communicate clearly and I'm honest when something isn't working.
